At Sacramento Divorce Solutions, we are dedicated to helping California families reach fair, affordable and supportive divorce solutions without going to court. With over 16 years of family law experience, our goal is to efficiently guide clients through their divorce using mediation and collaborative practice.
About Michael Jonsson
Mike lives and works in Sacramento, California. He started practicing law in 1993, and limits his practice solely to family law matters, with a focus on divorce Mediation, Collaborative Practice, and high conflict custody issues. Mike has been a Mediator since 1997, and a Collaborative Attorney since 1999. He has broad experience in dealing with complex custody and financial issues.
Mike no longer engages in divorce litigation (other than when he is appointed by the Court to represent children). However, in addition to providing advice about Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Divorce Practice processes, Mike provides valuable confidential legal counsel to those going through a litigated divorce, whether already represented by another attorney, or self represented. For such clients, Mike offers not only sound legal advice on custody, support, and property issues, but advice about how to select a divorce litigation attorney, and how to be an informed purchaser of legal services. Mike also offers coaching for those about to engage in Family Court Services or recommending mediation processes.
About Hellen Hernandez
Hellen has worked as a paralegal for Mike since 1998. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Prior to working for Mike, Hellen worked as a paralegal for a Bankruptcy firm, a valuable professional experience for these challenging financial times. Hellen mediated cases under Mike's direct supervision prior to her formal training as a Mediator, and she now carries her own Mediation case load. Hellen's Mediation practice is focused on families who need more affordable Divorce Mediation services, or who are more comfortable with a Mediator who speaks Spanish. Hellen is presently attending law school, and looks forward to becoming an attorney.

Desde 1998, Hellen trabaja para Mike como paralegal y se encarga de los actos notariales de la empresa. Antes de trabajar para Mike, Hellen era asistente legal para una oficina de bancarrota, una experiencia muy valiosa en estos tiempos.
